What resolution do you scan my photos at?
Every photo we scan is treated to our premium 600 dpi standard. This resolution preserves all the fine detail of your original print and gives you the freedom to enlarge it to more than double its size without losing quality. If you need even more detail, simply select the 1200dpi upgrade during checkout (just +50%).
Not sure what 600 dpi looks like in practice? Here are the finished pixel dimensions for a few common photo sizes:
6×4″ = 3600×2400 pixels (8.6 MP)
7×5″ = 4200×3000 pixels (12.6 MP)
8×6″ = 4800×3600 pixels (17.3 MP)
10×8″ = 6000×4800 pixels (28.8 MP)
